On Sunday, Indiana State University students were involved in a vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old football player and recent Lakota East graduate Caleb Vanhooser. The zodiac sign and birthdate of Caleb VanHooser are both unknown. He was of the black ethnicity and was American citizenship.
In addition to him, the other two students dead in the incident were Christian Eubanks, a freshman from Waukegan, Illinois, age 18, and Jayden Musili, a sophomore from Fort Wayne, Indiana, age 19.
In Riley, Indiana, the crash occurred around 1:30 in the morning. As it drifted off the road, the car smashed the tree. Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse reported a fire present when deputies arrived.
There were five passengers in the car, and all students were from Indiana State University, as stated by Plasse. Two passengers escaped the vehicle and suffered severe injuries; the driver and two passengers were confirmed dead at the spot.
The two injured victims have been identified as Omarian Dixon, 20, of Lafayette, Indiana, and John Moore, 19, of Wheaton, Illinois.. They are no longer in intensive care but in critical condition.
The school’s president, Dr. Deborah C. Curtis, said, “There are no words to reflect the depth of our sadness over this event entirely. “Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the affected youngsters. The Sycamore family is in mourning and will be helping one another during this difficult time.
In a statement, Indiana State head football coach Curt Mallory said, “It is a terrible day for Indiana State football and a devastating loss for both the Eubanks and the VanHooser families.
