Brooklyn Gridley Obituary: Accident, Cause Of Death, Funeral

On Saturday, February 18, a 19-year-old middle-aged woman was killed in an automobile accident on State Highway 16 in Waukesha.

On the eastbound lanes of STH 16, a catastrophic vehicle collision left one person dead and the other critically wounded. Witnesses claim that one of the involved cars was going the wrong way, which brought about the two cars’ head-on collision in the eastbound lanes of traffic.

The wrong-way driver, a 47-year-old Sullivan woman who was driving alone, was taken by paramedics to Aurora Summit Medical Center, where she is currently in critical condition.

Gridley, the other driver, was pulled from her car and rushed to Aurora Summit Medical Center by a Flight for Life jet. She sustained injuries in the crash and was afterwards pronounced dead there.

The Waukesha County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Village of Chenequa Police Department are actively looking into the occurrence. Accident reconstruction assistance has been requested from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

There are now no formal charges pending, and the entire town is left to mourn the loss of Gridley while praying for the other driver to heal quickly.

Brooklyn Gridley’s family has not yet made her obituary or other details about her funeral arrangements public. Nevertheless, they might later provide updates. The loss of a young life has left the community in sadness, and they are expressing their condolences and prayers to the family at this trying time.
