A tragic accident happened in Lowndes County; an innocent bartender died in a gunfire. The accident occurred on October 28 2023, around 2:30 am. at Flip Flops Bar. It is a mourning situation for the family, friends, and community, as they lose a loving person who always cared for her family and loved to spend time with them.
Our condolences and prayers are to Brianna Long, who passed away and left her dreams and beloved ones behind.
About Victim:
Georgian resident Brianna Long, 21, was a student at Valdosta State University and a resident of Lowndes County. She was an intelligent and talented student at her university who enjoyed interacting with other people, being an extrovert by nature. Brianna had high expectations, but she needed to work to secure her financial future while she finished her degree. She accepted a position as a bartender at Flip Flops Bar.
A sudden and horrible incident occurred on October 28, 2023. A group of unidentified persons were shooting outside the bar, and one of them shot through the window, hitting the 21-year-old bartender. Brianna passed away immediately at the site, according to the local authorities.
Currently, they are by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, according to a source. If any suspect is in custody, and if a culprit is caught, it becomes easy for (GBI) to arrest others and ask the motive of the gun firing. They fired on someone, or they were making fun with that gun.
Whatever the cause, the community lost an innocent, goal-oriented, and caring person.
Jordan Billups, a defensive back for the Valdosta State Blazers, shares his feelings and honours Brianna,
A kind person who had a loving soul who cared about everyone. ”Wish this was all a dream right now as I’m typing this. Some things in life you don’t understand, and this one I don’t, but I know God makes no mistakes. One moment of you texting me “good luck” before the game, then the next hearing you aren’t here with us anymore. THIS ONE HURTS! Bri, when we got to Valdosta, you were one of my first friends and became my best friend! You were the most kind, sweet, smart, fun person to be around, and I will always hold the memories we’ve made dear to my heart. I love you forever and always until we meet again.”
Funeral details:
The Brianna family is going through a challenging time in their lives. They lost a daughter and a sister, and they need some time to recover. Their family didn’t disclose the details of her funeral. Maybe they are not emotionally prepared for this. We hope they will announce the details soon as they prepare to say goodbye to her.
Our condolence and support are to Brianna and her family, who are suffering from this terrible time. May God open the door of Heaven for Brianna and give her family the patience and power to recover from this trauma.
