Brian Schieweck, son of Brian and Jennifer Schieweck, was born on February 8, 2000. Football team captain at Chippewa Valley High School during his junior and senior years, All-County. He was a baseball player who earned Honorable Mention in his junior year.

Brian played in eight games in his debut season at NMU in 2018. He had four tackles for the season—two hits made on Lawrence Tech.

He also participated in eight games in 2019. With three solo tackles and four assists, the player had seven total tackles toward the end of the season. At Michigan Tech, two tackles.

He participated in seven games in 2021. Against Northwood, he made three tackles. He made four tackles in all during the season. Against Grand Valley, he recovered one of his fumbles.

Brian was selfless and kind enough to lend a hand to everyone without demanding anything in return. His path from sophomore to junior is filled with memories and accomplishments. Everyone is heartbroken and grieving over his passing, especially his teammates, who are also hoping for his afterlife.
