On Sunday afternoon, November 5, 2023, Bonginkosi “Bongi” Ntuli, a famous South African striker, mainly known for his impressive skills on the soccer field unexpectedly passed away at the age of 32 in the Midlands Medical Centre Private Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. He was admitted to the hospital last week, but today, he lost his life to cancer.
Death news of Bongi Ntuli was announced and confirmed by the AmaZulu FC; a club where Bongi was serving. They stated that
“It is with a very heavy heart that we inform you of the untimely passing of our beloved centre-forward and loyal servant, Bonginkosi Ntuli. Ntuli was (very recently) diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, which metastasized and ultimately led to his death at the Midlands Medical Centre Private Hospital, in Pietermaritzburg this afternoon. May his beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. The club requests privacy and patience be granted his family and friends at this difficult time. Further announcements will be made in due course.”
What Caused His Death?
According to the statement of AmaZulu FC, Bongi Ntuli was diagnosed with cancer. He mentioned that it was in an aggressive form. So, for now, the main cause of his death is considered cancer. It’s not that he was battling with this disease for so long; he was just recently diagnosed with it.
In the meantime, funeral and memorial arrangements for Bongi Ntuli have not been announced by his family yet.
