On 4th November 2023, Saturday night, a Yubo user who, out of nowhere, took his own life on a live stream. That was a real-time incident, and that user was declared dead on the spot. That video has now been taken down from social media.
Cause of Death
According to the reports available for now, the cause of the user’s death seems to be a suicide attempt, which was witnessed at that time by the other users who were part of the live stream on the Yubo app.
People who were part of that livestream have announced the death news of that user. What happened was that the video of that live stream was spreading very rapidly, because of which the Yubo app server crashed, and the reason was that many people were reaching out to view the content of the live stream.
The Information regarding funeral or memorial arrangements for the user is not available for now because the user’s identity has also not been disclosed and determined yet.

The app, known as Yubo, was known as Yellow before. It is a French social networking software that was discovered and initiated in the year 2015 by Sacha Lazimi, Jérémie Aouate, and Arthur Patora. So, like any other app, this app also possesses an objective, which is “making new friends” and “building a sense of community.”
With time, the app became popular as, according to reports of 2022, almost 60 million people downloaded the application.
On the Yubo app, people come across other people who are relatable to each other, like people who connect with other people with the same interests as they have and share many things that are in common; this is how they socialize.

April 2022. By October 2020, it had reached a huge margin of 40 million users from all over the world, especially from the United States and Canada.
