Arturo Vidal’s father is found dead

Arturo Vidal’s father, Erasmo Vidal Navarro, was found dead in the facilities of the Club Hípico de Santiago, in Chile.

According to the information shared by said club, the body of the father of the soccer player of the Chilean National Team was found by the guards of said club.

“During the morning hours, Mr. Erasmo Vidal was found inside the enclosure by the security company that provides services to our institution,” the Hípico reported in a statement.

“When they realized that the person was not in good health, they contacted paramedics who worked inside the compound,” the letter says.

However, when the ambulance arrived from the Emergency Medical Care Service in Chile, Vidal had already died.

Who was Vidal’s father?

Erasmo Vidal regularly attended the Equestrian Club, where his son has several horses that compete in the races held there. This Monday he would have gone to the establishment to witness them.

The Flamengo midfielder maintained a distant relationship with his father for having abandoned his family when the midfielder was 5 years old.

In 2016, the soccer player’s father was arrested during an identity check carried out in the La Victoria town of the popular Pedro Aguirre Cerda commune. However, only hours after his capture he was released.

In 2018, a new son was born to Erasmo, Arturo’s stepbrother, whom the footballer was able to meet when he was 10 months old.
