On Wednesday, the 30th of August 2023, a tragic event occurred and claimed the life of a beloved Alina Beary. She had a funny and unique personality and was never afraid to show it; her friends loved that about her.
According to reports, Dr. Alina Beary, a beloved Torrey Honors College professor and sister in Christ, died from injuries sustained in the automobile crash.
Her unexpected demise was announced publicly by the Presbytery of Los Ranchos through a Facebook post that states:
“Dear Siblings in Christ,
I write to you with the heaviest of hearts. Last night, Alina Beary, wife of David Beary and mother of twin daughters Katherine and Elizabeth, was struck by a vehicle and died. David is the Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Downey and the Vice Moderator of our Presbytery. I have contacted David and assured him of our constant prayers and readiness to support him in any way we can. Please join me in prayer for David and his family as they grieve this tragic loss of their beloved wife and mother.”
She was brought to a nearby hospital, where it was later discovered that her injuries were fatal. There was no additional information given. The details of the collision’s specifics were not disclosed.
