Friends of the rapper confirmed the death of the artist, whom they described as a great artist.

MEXICO CITY.- The 22-year-old rapper known as R5 Homixide died on Monday night in the city of Atlanta, according to US media.

It was said that the singer’s friends were the ones who confirmed the death of a young man, whose real name is Rashad Dowdy, and although they did not detail the causes of his death, in a Twitter account dedicated to rap he mentioned that R5 Homixide had taken his life.

So far, neither the artist’s family nor the authorities have confirmed the information about the suicide, but for people who knew him, the causes of his death are irrelevant, since they shared several images with him and described him as a great artist.

One of his colleagues, rapper Problem Child 5, posted a photo in which he appears with his deceased friend and dedicates an emotional message to him.

Who went to watch my back now? Take me to your twin, “wrote the singer, accompanied by emojis of broken hearts. Money Game Boo paid tribute to Homixide saying, “Your heart was as big as this world. (You are) incredible, ”he posted.

R5 Homixide that’s how he thought of death

In an interview that the rapper R5 Homixide gave to a medium, he spoke about what he thought about life and death, so fans believe that the singer already sensed his end.

“Life is a major auto theft every day, you may or may not make it home, ” he said.

Homixide also talked about how he managed to get off the streets and improve himself as a singer, fulfilling one of his biggest dreams, at a young age.

“Getting to Atlanta specifically at Bankhead and Eastside, transitioning to street music and staying independent, moving like a rapper and the importance of self-confidence,” he expressed.

Police reports mentioned that Rashad Dowdy was 24 years old, but the media assure that in 2019, the interpreter gave an interview and assured that he was 19, so he would have died at 22 years of age.
