Isela Vega Died: How Did The Mexican Actress Die?

The entertainment world is in mourning after the unfortunate news of the death of the famous Mexican actress Isela Vega at 81 years of age was released.

The news of the interpreter’s death was confirmed by her niece, Brenda Vega, through a publication on the Facebook platform: “Today a woman dies and a legend is born, Isela Vega, your heart sails and your soul now rests, I am sure that soon we will see each other again, I love you here and there, you leave your legacy with us, I will honor your life for the rest of my days… I love you ”.

According to information reviewed by the Univision show “Despierta América” , Vega died as a result of advanced cancer that she had suffered for just over a month.

The late Mexican star is survived by her two children: Arturo Vázquez (the result of her relationship with the actor and singer Alberto Vázquez) and Shaula Luke (procreated along with the late actor Jorge Luke).

Isela Vega began her artistic career in the modeling industry, after being crowned the carnival princess of her native Hermosillo, Sonora, in Mexico. Shortly after, Vega made her great debut in the film industry with her participation in the film “Verano violento” (1960).

The famous actress was recognized for her participation in great Mexican melodramas such as “Ramona” (2000), “Pasión” (2007), “Gente bien” (1997), “Italian girl is coming to get married” (2014), “Yago” ( 2016), “Without your look” (2017), “Niña de mi corazón” (2010) and “Amor descarado” (2003).

Vega participated in more than fifty cinematographic productions in Aztec lands, among which are: “The camera of terror” (1968), “Marriage is like the devil” (1969), “The spring of the scorpions” (1971), “Face to the hottest sun” (1978), “Appearances can be deceiving” (1983) and “Herod’s law” (1999).

In her role as a model, the Mexican was the first Latina woman to pose for Playboy magazine in an issue that was published in 1974.

Isela Vega’s talent was awarded more than once in important awards ceremonies in Mexico, such as the ACE Awards and the Ariel Award.
