Ned Eisenberg Died: What Was His Cause Of Death?

Actor Ned Eisenberg, of Mare of Easttown and Law & Order, dies at 65.

He had been battling two cancers for years.

Actor Ned Eisenberg, best known for playing defense attorney Roger Kressler on the Law & Order series and more recently detective Hauser on Mare of Easttown, has died at age 65 of cancer. The information was confirmed by his wife Patricia to TMZ.

“As Ned himself would say, he was attacked by two very rare killers — cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma. Over the course of two years, he faced cancers bravely and privately, while continuing to work to ensure he could afford his medical coverage and your family’s,” the wife told the site.

Eisenberg made his film debut in 1980 and, in addition to the series already mentioned, is credited in productions such as Unlimited, The Last Killer, and At Any Price. On TV, his last roles were in Little Voice, Mare of Easttown, Blacklist, Marvelous Ms. Maisel, and Adult Ed.

He leaves his wife and son, Lino.
