The hip hop world is in mourning upon learning of the death of one of its pioneers, Shaun Shiller Fequiere, better known by his stage name The Kangol Kid, who after being hospitalized for several weeks and undergoing two surgeries, finally lost the battle against cancer at the age of 55.
It was during the course of the morning of this Saturday, December 18, that various media confirmed what had been coming for some time, the news about the death of Kangol Kid, caused by colon cancer.

Kangol Kid had maintained a positive attitude despite the diagnoses received, he even kept in touch with his audience through his official Instagram account, in which he often published images of him inside and outside the hospital, in addition to giving details about his health.
In his last publication made two weeks ago, he posed in a bed at North Shore University Hospital in New York with rapper LL Cool J, a photograph in which, judging by his physique, he was in a rather deteriorated state of health.

Shaun Fequiere, better known as Kangol Kid, was one of the members of the hip hop group UTFO for its acronym in English (Untouchable Force Organization), whose group catapulted him as one of the pioneers in hip-hop, and although later he dedicated his Life only to be a producer and songwriter, he remained a legend to many.
