Iran Announces Tomorrow, The First Day Of The Blessed Eid al-Fitr

The office of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said, “The crescent of the month of Shawwal has been seen, and therefore tomorrow, Thursday, May 13, is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.”

Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries to announce Thursday, the first day of Shawwal, and the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

The UAE, Syria, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sudan, Yemen, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, the Sultanate of Oman, Tunisia, Algeria and Libya announced that Thursday is the first of Shawwal and the first day of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.

The Sunni Endowment Office in Iraq announced that Thursday is the first day of Eid al-Fitr, while the supreme religious authority in Iraq, Ali al-Sistani, declared that Friday is the first day of Eid
