According to the reports, Lieutenant Colonel Wiriyaphong Srinuanpan, deputy inspector of Chalong police station, responded to the notification from the Chalong police radio station on 11 January 2024 about the motorbike accident in the tunnel on Chaofa West Road. Authorities swiftly reached the location and discovered a man identified as Fariyar Aminipour, who was a 23-year-old Iranian national, lying on the road with injuries along with the large black Yamaha bike overturned. Fariyar was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead due to severe injuries and a large wound on his head.

Authorities are actively investigating the matter and revealed that he was driving a bike on Chaofa West Road and was riding down the tunnel towards the Rawai and due to a curved road he lost control and collided.
