Leon Michael Hart, an American football coach and former player, was born on April 9, 1986. He is now Indiana University’s running backs coach. Between 2004 and 2007, Hart participated in collegiate football for the University of Michigan as a running back. With 5,040 yards, he now owns the Michigan Wolverines’ all-time rushing yardage record.
In the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL) selected him. Before being released by the Colts in the spring of 2011, Hart spent three seasons with the team, mainly in a backup position.

According to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, Hart, the program’s all-time top rusher recently hired as the Wolverines’ running backs coach, signed a memorandum of understanding with U-M on January 12.
The contract, signed on January 12 and acquired by MLive through a public-records request with the University of Michigan, stipulates that the new running backs coach will start with a $415,000 compensation.
According to the contract, Hart is a football assistant coach. He will receive $415,000 in Year 1 and $430,000 in Year 2 of the contract. Plus, he was given a signing bonus of $115,000 and is qualified for “club performance payments.”
Hart gets a termination amount equivalent to 25% of that year’s income if he quits his job and takes a different one. The buyout rate increases to 50% if the position is located in the Big Ten. If Hart chooses a head coaching or coordinator position with an FBS or FCS programme or a job with an NFL team, he is not required to pay any buyout.
