Carlos Marín, singer of ‘Il Divo’ has passed away at the age of 53. The artist remained in the ICU of Manchester Royal Hospital, in England, in an induced coma, since last December 8. It has been the music group itself that has confirmed the news on their social networks. “With great regret we let you know that our friend and partner Carlos Marín has passed away. His friends, family, and fans will miss him. There will never be another voice or spirit like Carlos,” the group itself writes through its social networks.

The band had just started their UK tour when the singer had to be hired. The artist was intubated and in an induced coma after having contracted COVID-19 despite having received the full vaccination schedule.
The musical group’s Instagram account has also written a message informing about the artist’s tragic end. The quartet wanted to say goodbye to Carlos Marín and dedicate a few beautiful words to him through the account with the same image with which they said goodbye on Twitter.
“For 17 years, the four of us have been together on this incredible Il Divo journey, and we will miss our dear friend. We hope and pray that his beautiful soul may rest in peace. With love – David, Sebastien, and Urs, ” the group writes in his last words to the singer after his sad death.
