“Buscando a Frida” is one of the melodramas that is scheduled to premiere in the first quarter of 2021 on Telemundo. The Spanish-language television network announced that the television series will debut on its screens starting January 26, 2021, at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.
Loaded with intrigue, secrets, and twists and turns, “Buscando a Frida” presents the story of the Pons family and how their lives were suddenly changed when their daughter, Frida, mysteriously disappeared the night of her father’s birthday party. During the investigation, lies, resentments and family secrets will come to light, turning everyone into suspects and exposing a family that is far from perfect.
The main cast of the new Telemundo series is headed by personalities such as Eduardo Santamarina, Victoria White, Ximena Herrera and Arap Bethke.

“Buscando a Frida” is a Telemundo Global Studios production directed by Carlos Villegas, Felipe Aguilar and Mauricio Corredor, with executive production by Marcos Santana, Ximena Cantuarias and Monica Vizzi, and the adaptation of the libretto by Sandra Velasco.
The new project of the Spanish-language television network is a modern adaptation of the Chilean drama “Where is Elisa?”, An original story by Pablo Illanes that was recreated by Telemundo in 2010, becoming the most-watched Spanish-language series in its schedule in the United States.

However, her life takes an unexpected turn when Mariana (Bracamontes), her best friend, passes away and leaves everything to Loli, including her two children. The news takes everyone by surprise and especially Loli, who feels that she is the least suitable person for this task. Loli will have to face her new reality and learn suddenly that work is not everything in life, and discover that the true meaning of success is family and love”.
The new romantic comedy for the Spanish-language television network is directed by Miguel Varoni, Danny Gavidia and Richard Schwarz. While Elizabeth Suárez is responsible for the general production and the executive show is in charge of Karen Barroeta and Marcos Santana.
