“Debbie and I are devastated by Sue Thomas’ loss. Sue was hard of hearing but was a fluent speaker. She was hired by the FBI thanks to her abilities. Her life was the subject of a TV show. She is shown praying for the pastors at our NE retreat this year. She can now clearly hear Jesus’ voice!”

Sue was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on May 24, 1950. The late William and Clara Thomas’ lone child is her. Sue attended Ohio State University, graduated from Boardman High School, and studied political science at Springfield College in Massachusetts, biblical studies at CIU in South Carolina, and psychology at Case Western Reserve.

Sue is well-known for her tenure as an undercover lip reader performing surveillance work at the FBI in Washington, D.C. Through the television series Sue Thomas FBEye, which is syndicated, her real experiences were recreated.

She was also an accomplished motivational speaker and writer. She is the creator of Sue Thomas Ministries. This nonprofit group includes WaterBrooks, a place of prayer in Vermont, and Operation Silent Night, a programme that helps the homeless on the streets.

She overcame many obstacles in her life with grace, bravery, and plenty of joy. She believed that simply finishing the race was her most outstanding lifetime achievement.
