The body of American singer-songwriter Keith Martin was found decomposed in his condominium unit in Libis, Quezon City last Friday.

World musician Keith Martin was found dead at his condominium in Quezon City, Philippines. The singer of the song Because of You is known to have disappeared for 7 days.

Based on a preliminary investigation by the authorities, other occupants of the building allegedly complained of the pungent odor coming from the unit of the 55-year-old American singer, which among the hit songs was “Because of You.”

When the authorities went to Keith’s unit, along with the villagers, they found his decomposing body.

According to Police Lt. Colonel Cristine Tabdi of Station 12 of the Quezon City Police District, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit will continue the investigation into what happened to Keith.

His remains will also be autopsied to determine what caused his death.

Meanwhile, a PEP.ph report reported that singer-actress Sheree could not believe what happened to her friend Keith.

The two became close friends when Keith decided to live in the Philippines. The two allegedly had a music collaboration.

Sheree allegedly said that Keith was not feeling well when he last saw him so she advised him to see a doctor.

He also said that he has been sending text messages in recent days but he did not answer, which surprised him.
