At the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Clearfield, Brooke Haney, 25, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. Her paternal grandparents, David and Ruth Haney, great-grandparents Chester and Helen Homman, Robert and Elizabeth Taylor, uncles Harold and Leon Homman, and aunt Beverly Matson all survived her.

Pastor Anthony Caiola will preside over the funeral services on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory in Clearfield. The Bigler Cemetery will then be the site of the burial.

Daughter of Michelle Homman and Rick Haney, she was born in Clearfield on May 15, 1994. She was a competitor in bowling, bocce ball, and track for the Special Olympics in Clearfield County. She also took part in the AHA Heart Walk every year.

In addition to bowling, Brooke loved camping and fishing. She enjoyed cracking jokes with her loved ones and friends. Brooke took great pleasure in making those around her smile and laugh. Due to her prior need for two heart transplants, Brooke decided to give her the last gift of being a CORE donor.

She is also survived by five sisters, Tina Bloom, Danielle Haney, Samantha Haney, Kristi Haney, and McKenzie Haney; her parents; three brothers, Kyle Homman, Brandon Knepp, and Matt Green; her maternal grandparents, Donald ‘Don’ and Donna Homman; two nephews, Kolby Pates and Trenton Green; two nieces, Kaylee Homman and Alexis Green; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and Uno, her best friend.

Everyone will miss her.
