Sister of champions Angela Lee and Christian Lee, Victoria was also fighting for the ONE Championship and was undefeated in MMA; know more

The current holder of the ONE Championship atomweight belt, athlete Angela Lee used her social media to deliver sad news to the fight community. Last Saturday (7), she announced that her younger sister, Victoria Lee, also a fighter in the Asian organization, died at just 18 years old.

The shocking news of her death has been a surprise among MMA fans and her entire circle, since there was no news of a possible disease.

In the statement, which came through her official Instagram page, Angela Lee informs that her sister, who fought in the strawweight division, died on December 26, 2022 and said that “our family has been completely devastated since then”. The cause of Victoria’s early death, however, has not been disclosed. The young woman is also the sister of Christian Lee , who, like Angela Lee, is a champion at the ONE Championship.

“She was gone too soon and our family has been completely devastated ever since. We miss her. More than anything in this world. Our family will never be the same. Life will never be the same. Victoria was the most beautiful soul that ever lived. She was the best little sister in the world. The best daughter, the best granddaughter, and the best godmother/aunt to Ava and Alia.

We miss you so much, sister. More than you could ever realize. We are all broken. Because a piece of you was in each of us and when you left, those pieces were ripped from us. We will never be the same,” Angela Lee wrote in the post.

Known as “The Prodigy”, Victoria Lee was born on May 17, 2004, and was a member of a family of fighters. Following in the footsteps of her brothers Angela and Christian Lee, Victoria migrated to the ONE Championship and remained undefeated fighting for the Asian organization, with three wins – all of them in 2021, two by submission and one by knockout. Her last fight took place in December 2021, when she defeated Victoria Souza by TKO in the second round.
