The sudden death of the renowned actor Toto Vega took the entire country by surprise since little was known about his health problems, which unfortunately led to his death.
Initially, it was known that heart failure was the cause of the event, after giving a speech at the Green Film Festival in Barichara, Santander, which he directed with his wife Nórida Rodríguez.
Causes of death of Toto Vega
Now, through a statement, the doctors at the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Barichara revealed how the last moments of the actor passed and the causes of his death.
“In our institution, a 53-year-old male patient is received, brought by ambulance from the institution, with a history of being overweight, with no other known or referred comorbidities by relatives. He was admitted unconscious, cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, orotracheal intubation, were started immediately after 21+36 maneuvers, pulses and heart rate were obtained after 20 minutes of maneuvers, and immediate transfer to the second level of care was carried out,” he says. the notice.
As explained in the press release, it was planned to transfer the actor to the San Gil Hospital, however, despite the attempts of health professionals to save his life, the artist presented a second for cardiorespiratory, which they managed to control, but on the way, he had a third strike, which was the cause of his death.
