Tiffany Jackson, a former all-American Texas and Duncanville High School women’s basketball player passed away on Monday at age 37 following a battle with cancer. Jackson was in her fourth complete season with the Shock when she learned the diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer. By 2016, she had cured her cancer, and she could play basketball professionally once more, this time in Israel.
Jackson’s passing was reported by the University of Texas Longhorns athletics department on Monday.
