According to reports, the Denver medical community may have lost a significant member: a famous orthopaedic spine surgeon, Dr. Stephen Pehler, MD, from Denver, Colorado, at 67 on October 5.
It’s necessary to remember that while there have been unconfirmed rumours claiming that Dr Pehler committed suicide, these stories have not yet been formally confirmed.
The cause of his death is not verified. However, we are aware that if that talented man lives longer, he can assist thousands of individuals dealing with severe spinal injuries.
Who was Stephen Pehler:
Houston, Texas, where Dr. Stephen Pehler was born on May 12, 1956, is an economically prosperous city where his interest in medicine began.
He started a challenging academic career and graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He continued to finish his medical degree at the respected University of Alabama, where he was honourably inducted into the prestigious AOA Medical Honors Society in recognition of his extraordinary talent and commitment to the rules and regulations.
He was a loving husband and father of 2 children, Emily and Daniel Stephen. Stephen loved spending time with his family because they were his pride and joy. In addition to being a loving dad, unfortunately, Stephen passed away and lived behind his wife Susan and children Emily & Daniel.

Though greatly missed, he will always be remembered. On October 15, 2023, a memorial service honouring Stephen’s life will occur in the Aurora Community Centre. The family asks that donations instead of flowers be sent to the causes close to Stephen’s heart.
