Sherana Daniels Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

According to her sister, Sherana Daniels, 13, passed away on Tuesday from burns she got in the Mahdia dorm fire. She was the family’s largest source of inspiration.

Trishana Daniels, 16, who attended the same school as her sister but managed to escape the fire, described the family’s profound remorse and sorrow at the loss.

The teen’s recovery was what Trishana and her family had hoped for. She said, “She always pushes us to be who we want to become. Celeste Samuels, Trishana’s mother, is still in sorrow and is claimed to be overcome with grief, according to Trishana. On Tuesday, family members gathered at the Georgetown Public Hospital to support one another.

According to doctors, the juvenile girl experienced two cardiac arrests and injuries connected to carbon monoxide exposure.

Trishana recalled that a doctor questioned her if she knew her sister’s condition had not improved when she arrived at the hospital to visit her, and she replied in the affirmative. After that, she was led inside the room, where she witnessed her mother sobbing.

Mommy started crying when she saw me in the room and said, “Your sister left us’.”

Around 23:00 on May 21, the fire spread throughout the school’s female dorm. “When I run out, I start asking everyone if they see my sister, and I eventually start crying,” Trishana recalled the fire night.

Sherana was ultimately located by the girl’s brother, who was living in the hostel for boys, who then informed her that Sherana was in the dining room. Sadly, the teen was not feeling well.

“A few minutes later, he (her brother) returned and told me how she behaved in the dining room.

“I feel relieved because I thought nothing ain’t happen to her when I meet; she was lying down and groaning,” Trishana added.

After the conflagration, Sherana was first declared dead. She was among the numerous girls who endured the ordeal and received care at the GPHC. One person has transported abroad for critical care in New York on the weekend.

The fire claimed the lives of a 5-year-old boy and 19 girls. Of the 19 girls, four have already been buried.
