One of the founding members of the Grind King skate team and legendary skateboarder Robbie Mckinley has passed away. He invented contemporary skateboarding, and people will never forget his achievements.

We spent countless hours together at the beach, courthouse, hotrod, in tour buses, on the road, and in bars over the years; you were one of a kind. I’m sorry to see you leave so soon… I’m glad you’re at peace, my friend. I adore you.”
McKinley was one of the original members of Society when it was founded in the 1990s. The group immediately became one of the essential skating groups globally, and McKinley had a significant role in its development.
Due to his appearances in the skating videos “Mosaic” and “Subtleties,” and his sponsorship by brands like Foundation Skateboards, Independent Trucks, and Pig Wheels Source, McKinley became well-known in the industry. He helped to push the limits of what was possible on a skateboard by using his creative approach to skating and his ability to think outside the box.
