A 37-year-old man who was closely tied to Hells Angels in Quebec was shot to death on Wednesday in Mexico.
The two Mexican media websites reported that Samy Tamouro was shot and killed at a gym in Cancun. In 2016, Samy Tamouro was charged after the arrest of a drug trafficker in Project Magot Mastiff, who was then turned into an informant and provided evidence of Samy Tamouro linked with the Hells Angels in Quebec.
A website known for reporting on the homicide revealed a photo of Samy Tamouro’s driver’s license. According to reports from La Presse, Tomouro was also linked with Frederick Silva, a hitman who turned into the informant in 2022 during the summer. According to the reports, Montreal police and the Surete du Quebec started several other search warrants based on an ongoing investigation created after Silva became an informant.
In recent months, police sources have reported to the Montreal Gazette that many renowned crime figures had left Quebec after Silva was removed by helicopter from the federal prison and his placement under police protection.
According to the message about the homicide posted on X by the Attorney General Office of the State of Quintana Roo, the preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had a criminal history in Canada due to the conviction of gangsterism and unapproved origin possession of money.
It has shown the apparent reference to how Samy Tamouro had pleaded guilty at the Montreal courthouse in 2017 on the charge of gangsterism and the possession of crimes. These charges are made based on the information provided by the informant who was arrested in Magot Mastiff in 2015, which resulted in Tamouro’s 18-year imprisonment.

It was revealed that the member of Hells Angels transported the drug cocaine to the network. The informant also said that the same Tamouro was a member of ‘ the dark souls,’ which was the group of Hells Angel support group.
