Pedie King, president of King Suzuki of Hickory, North Carolina, has unfortunately departed.
On Wed Aug 26, 2023, his suicide death left the entire community in shock and sadness. His death was confirmed through a social media post that remarks:
“I am at a loss for words right now. I just found out that we have lost Pedie King. I don’t know how or why, all I know is that you could not find a more honest caring man. He and his family were regular customers of mine at the Hickory Tavern years ago. My heart is broken for his family right now. Please say a special prayer for comfort and peace today for Kerri and the family.”
It is unknown what prompted him to make this decision or what conditions led him to commit suicide tragically.
His family will make announcements regarding the funeral and obituary in the future.

King graduated from Hickory High School in 1992, after which he started his football career at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Pedie King obtained his sports management degree from the same university.
His passion infused every element of his life rather than being restricted to a particular activity or activities in general. His enthusiasm serves as an inspiration to inspire people to step outside of their comfort zones and embrace the unfamiliar.
The selflessness exhibited by Pedie King was a potent example of the advantages of putting the needs of others before one’s own.
