Peter Morris, a reputable and dedicated administrator in the Brick Township and a long-term resident of Brick, New Jersey, unexpectedly passed away on January 20th, 2024. The sudden death of Peter Morris left his friends, family and school community heartbroken and mourning.

According to the reports, Peter Morris died due to a heart attack. According to the close reports by family, he died on Saturday, January 20th, 2024. The news of his death was announced on social media by Brick Football Green and the alumni club’s Facebook page, in which they expressed their heartfelt condolences to Peter and his family.

Who was Peter Morris?

Peter Morris was a long-term Brick, New Jersey, resident and a reputable administrator at the Brick Township School District. In 1990, Peter Went to American International College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in education and history. In 1994, he went to Georgian Court University and earned a master’s of education in guidance, supervision, and student services. In 2000, he earned his master’s in education and school administration from the same university. In 2005, he earned a doctor of education degree in organizational/education leadership from Rowan University.

Peter’s education played a great role in shaping his career. He served as a superintendent of schools at Lavallette Borough Board of Education school district and at Bay Head Borough School District. Later, he joined Georgian Court University, where he served as an adjunct professor. At Tall Timber Leadership Consulting LLC, he served as an educational and organizational leadership coach.

Peter’s Sons Peter Jr. Is a hockey player at the junior level, and Matthew is a freshman hockey and football player for the Dragons. Peter was a former Brick Township High School quarterback and also a member of the Brick Football Green and white alumni club.

Peter was a well-experienced administrator and educational leader throughout his life, with more than 30 years of experience in public school. He showed his immense dedication and support to mental wellness and leadership program initiatives in society. As a chief school administrator, he showed his exceptional skills in providing a better education system by facilitating students, staff, and the entire school’s success.

His unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to the education system got him a Superintendent of the Year award in 2013 and nominations in the same category in 2017, 2019 and 2021.
