On November 28, 1998, Patrick Gasienica was born in McHenry, Illinois, in the United States. When he was just four years old, he made his first jump in Park City, Utah, and later made jumps at Norge Ski Club while visiting his cousins.

Patrick Gasienica joined the Norge Ski Club when he was 13, and his family relocated to Spring Grove. He trained with one of the club’s coaches, his father, Wojtek Gasienica, who also coached other competitors.

Patrick’s diligence and hard work were rewarded when he participated in the 2022 Winter Olympics. When he is not competing, Patrick lives with his mother, Jolanta Kiwior, in McHenry. His father, who resides in the country, is quite proud of him.
