Patrick Briggs Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

On December 30, 2022, Patrick Briggs, an American singer and Psychotica’s lead vocalist passed suddenly. The booking agency for PSYCHOTICA posted the following on social media to inform people of Briggs’ passing:

“Patrick was a star child, a creative force, an innovator, and someone who bravely faced the world. His artistic ability, incredible sense of style, evil grin, and cunning wit will never be forgotten. Although you are liberated from the suffering of this world, our hearts are broken.

“My dear friend, may the angels embrace you and may your star shine brightly forever.

It is not known what caused his death. There are no specifics provided on the funeral services. His absence is felt by everyone’s friends’ families, who are also paying respect to him online.

“JFC! Patrick Briggs has since died away. For those who spent their Friday nights listening to Squeezebox in the 1990s, you know.”

At eight, Briggs had his acting debut at a theatre in Burbank, California. Because he was the only child in the theatre, he made the error of going to the audition for The Seven Year Itch, where he was cast as Little Ricky.

With Tracii Guns, Johnny B. Frank from Kingdom Come, Rikki Rockett (drummer for Poison), and Briggs on vocals, The Limelight—a short-lived glam rock band—was his first musical endeavor. Later, he dances at parties for Limelight.

Briggs has created Club Makeup, an event that takes place at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles and features a special record for the E! channels. He also founded Squeezebox in New York City. Briggs also participated in vocal performances and a brief tour with the Impotent Sea Snakes.
