Ole Miss Suicide: Investigations continue as a student found dead at Ole Miss Campus.

University of Mississippi suicide: Law enforcement agencies at the University of Mississippi are investigating a student’s death by apparent suicide at the school’s campus. According to the reports, a student was discovered dead at Ole Miss (University of Mississippi) campus.

Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene where a student was found unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Unconfirmed reports say he committed suicide. An investigation is underway. The authorities have not released a cause of death. The law enforcement agencies investigating the incident have not released the identity of the victim as well.

It is the second tragedy that has hit Ole Miss. Earlier this month, a nineteen-year-old student, Cameron Tucker Parsons, died on October 6, 2023, in his room at Stockard Hall. He was pursuing a Bachelor of Accountancy degree at the University.
On Friday, October 6, University Police responded to a report of an unresponsive student at Stockard Hall. The coroner’s office later confirmed his death.

The grieving students can reach out to the Counselling Center for emotional support. Students who are struggling with mental health issues can contact the Center for mental wellness and support.
