Oladips, whose real name is Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, was a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born on 24th March 1995 in Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria. The pop star was known for rapping in Yoruba and Pidgin English. The famous rapper’s life was cut short as he unexpectedly died on Tuesday at age 28. The death news is circulating on the internet, which revealed his struggle with mental health.

In the late hours of Tuesday, videos circulated on social media in which Oladips collapsed around his friends and was immediately taken to the hospital. Before the circulating video, Oladips had posted on his Instagram stories in which he was asking for help. In his story post, he mentioned one of his friends named Onlyonelifetime and asked about the whereabouts. The post showed Oladip’s frustration that he was unable to reach his friend after attempting multiple calls. The post depicted that Oladips was not feeling well and did not want to be alone in the home.
The news of his death was announced by Oladip’s management on his Instagram account, stating that Oladips passed away on Tuesday night at exactly 10:14 pm. The post also revealed that he was ‘battling within himself’ for two years.
The dead body of Oladips has been handed over to his family, and soon, they will reveal the funeral of the deceased.

He was known for winning the “King is her” competition, due to which he earned a record deal with the Edge Records label owned by Reminisce.
