It is difficult to determine why car accidents, which are now the leading cause of fatalities, continue to occur considering careless driving, a failure to obey traffic laws and other significant factors that can be contributed to the accidents.

The same thing occurred in Boxford, Massachusetts, when a young kid died in an automobile accident.

The victim of an early Thursday morning fatal car accident in Boxford, Massachusetts, has been identified as a student at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School.

Incident details:

According to sources, a senior at Essex Tech in Danvers and a youngster from Essex County died in a single-car collision around 1:27 a.m.

Police were called to the incident near Cross Street and Depot Road. The teenager was still stuck in the smashed car when law officers arrived and found it off the road.

After being freed from the vehicle, he was declared dead there. Authorities reportedly informed his family members when they arrived at the terrible scene.

According to the authorities, at around one in the morning, Boxford Police officers discovered a solitary car that had driven off the road and deep into the forest. The police requested the Boxford Fire Department and EMS.

Following the collision, the intersection of Depot Road and Elm Street and Depot Road and Cross Street were closed to traffic as law officers attended to the scene.

Alcohol was found to be a contributing factor in the accident, according to reports. Authorities are now investigating the event to see if drunk driving was involved.
