Welsh journalist Nicola Heywood Thomas was well-known for her radio and television work. She was born in 1961 in the Welsh coastal town of Llantwit Major.
Ella Nicola started her media career in 1985 by working for BBC Radio Wales after completing her studies at Cardiff University. She has since hosted many radio and television programmes in Wales and the UK.
