This morning of October 23, 2022, Consuelo Angulo de Hernández, mother of Jorge, Luis, Hernán and Raúl Hernández, members of Los Tigres del Norte, passed away. The lady was in Baja California, Mexico, where she had lived for some time after suffering the discomforts of her advanced age. In fact, moments before her death, various local media reported that the matriarch was in serious health. It was the singers who announced the news when they offered a concert in Querétaro.
The woman, known as ‘The boss of bosses’ died last Saturday; she was the one who taught Jorge, Hernán, Eduardo and Luis to sing, members of the group
“We are going to make a parenthesis. Tonight we have a lump in our throats and hearts,” Hernán mentioned during the presentation offered to the public at the Olympic Stadium in that Aztec city. “We just got word that our mom passed away. It feels a little weird having to sing.”
The attendees gave their full support to the famous group; which, did not hesitate to go ahead with the show that, precisely, they dedicated to whoever gave them life. “We are going to continue with the songs, if you hear tears coming out, then excuse us,” added Jorge. “[Our mother] told us ‘the public comes first.’ She always told us that, so we’re going to continue to honor her tonight.”

Los Tigres del Norte went to see their mother and after the funeral, they will continue with their concerts, as reported.
