Lance Pfrimmer, a University of Wisconsin-Stout Blue Devils member, passed tragically suddenly. His passing was revealed in a message on social media by UW-Stout Cross Country, which read:
“Forever a Blue Devil
We report the passing of our one and only Lance Pfrimmer with heavy hearts. He was a determined, driven, charismatic, and fun-loving member of our family, and his genuine love for his team was palpable in everything he did.
We love you, Lance.”

His death’s circumstances or what caused it are unknown now; however, if any information becomes available, his family will undoubtedly inform the world.

About Lance Pfrimmer:
He attended the University of Wisconsin and majored in engineering technology there. He was in his sophomore year when he passed away. His secondary schooling was finished at Mayo High School.
He spent his free time playing video games, watching Marvel or Star Wars films, or hanging out with pals when he wasn’t running. Before Stout, he was an All-Conference, Big Nine Scholar Athlete, and 2021 Mayo High School alumni with an athletic letter. He was given the Leadership Award at the 2021 Conference Champions and All-City Champions events.
Throughout his career, he participated in five matches with the Blue Devils, achieving an 8k time of 25:31 for a personal best. His ranking at the WIAC Championships was 56th. In seven indoor track competitions, he took part. In the WIAC Championships, he came in ninth place.
Lance placed 19th in the 800 at the NCAA Division III National Championships and was named All-Region by the USTFCCCA in the 800 and DMR.
At the WIAC Championships, he participated in seven outdoor track competitions, placing third in the 1500 and sixth in the 800. After posting a season-best time of 1:52.21 in the 800-meters—the second-fastest in school history—he was named USTFCCCA All-Region.
