Jordan Douglas Obituary, Accident, Cause Of Death, Funeral

According to a deputy with the sheriff’s office, a local guy named Jordan Douglas reportedly died on Saturday night when his motorcycle collided with a car. The authorities have not released the findings of the preliminary inquiry into the accident.

According to his Facebook page, Douglas attended Brunswick High School in Maine and the University of Maine at Presque Isle. On-site medical personnel declared Jordan Douglas deceased.

The collision on Tuttle Road in Canaan resulted in the death of 34-year-old Chief Deputy Michael Mitchell of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, Nicholas Davis.

Davis was driving a Harley-Davidson when he collided head-on with a 2010 Subaru Forester at 6:30. About a mile from the Hill Road intersection, the accident happened. According to Mitchell, Davis wasn’t wearing a helmet. Keiana Paradis, a Norridgewock native and 24 years old, was the Subaru’s driver. Paradis always had her seat belt on while driving with her two-year-old kid.

Even though Mitchell had a gut that neither Paradis nor her kid would be wounded, they were sent to the Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan to be examined. According to Mitchell, the cause of the incident was still unknown as of Sunday afternoon because the investigation into the accident was still underway.

Everyone is saying prayers for Douglas in memory and sharing condolences and tributes to him on social media. Regarding the funeral arrangements, nothing is known.
