According to first reports, Jo Mersa, as the celebrity called herself, died of an asthma attack.

The preliminary information was shared by TMZ, which detailed that Jo died of conditions related to asthma. However, the media sources did not offer more information about the death of the artist, who was also dedicated to the reggae genre, just like his grandfather. The singer was known for songs like “Burn it Down,” “No Way Out,” and “Made It”; followers and collaborators of the musical world have already expressed their condolences to the family and friends of Bob Marley’s grandson.

Jo Mersa Marley was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where he lived much of his childhood and attended Saints Peter and Paul Preparatory School, later settling in Florida, United States. Bob Marley’s grandson attended Miami Dade College and studied audio engineering before starting his musical career with him in 2014, when he became a huge expectation for reggae fans who missed his grandfather Bob Marley.
