The maths instructor at Pelican High School, Jennifer Hall, a citizen of Pelion, has sadly passed away. One of her family members posted on Facebook about her death, saying:
“Last night, the world lost a wonderful woman, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel! The family of Jennifer Hall is so grateful for the outpouring of love and support that everyone has shown them through this difficult time.”
Peritoneal carcinoma in stage 4 was discovered in Jennifer. This indicates that although cancer started in her stomach lining, it later moved to her female organs and caused her death.
The family may announce further details on the funeral services in the future. Everyone mourned the loss of the beloved Jennifer Hall and prayed for her soul to continue living while paying tribute to her.
“Another high school classmate gone too soon! Even though we grew up and moved on with our lives, I’ll always remember you as JT! Jennifer Hall was always smiling and so kind. Peace and comfort for your family during this unimaginable time.”
“I wanted to wait until it was ok to post. Heaven gained an amazing soul yesterday. We’ve rocked since we were five years old. You gained your wings on my Granny’s birthday. I know she welcomed you into Heaven. Jennifer Hall, fly high, my friend. No more pain…no more suffering. I’m thankful to have been able to spend time with you this past month and love up on you. You’re the absolute strongest woman I know. Pelion hurts. You impacted so many lives here. Prayers for strength for your family and those who love you.”
Tyndall and Bentley are two cherished daughters that Jennifer and her husband Mitch have shared since their marriage in 2009. Both Jennifer and Mitch have lived in Pelion their entire lives. Mitch is a Captain and a career firefighter at the City of Columbia Fire Department.
For the previous 16 years, Jennifer taught maths at Pelion High School. Stage 4 peritoneal cancer was just recently discovered in her. Her friends and family helped her as she got treatment.
