Jack Fenton, 22-year-old tourist helicopter propeller in Greece.

On Monday evening, a 22-year-old British tourist Jack Fenton has been killed in Greece, a Balkan nation, after being struck by a helicopter’s propeller. According to media reports, it is said that he was fatally injured as he exited his rented aircraft.

According to Britain’s Times newspaper, Police identified the victim as Jack Fenton.

Britain’s Times newspaper managed to reach out to the authorities and recorded their statement. According to a senior police official “He was the first to disembark the Bell 407 helicopter in Athens and as he moved to the back, he was hit in the head by the aircraft’s small rear rotor.”

Additionally, the helicopter pilot and two ground staff members were called. Before the meeting, they met with a lawyer to discuss possible accusations of negligence.

According to a campaign spokesperson for the British Foreign Office, Press Association, “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Greece and is in contact with the local authorities.”

Fenton along with his group of people decided to rent two helicopters to travel from the Greek island of Mykonos to a private airport in Spata. After that, it was mutually decided that they will fly back to the UK in a private jet.

When they landed, Fenton reportedly got off the helicopter and walked behind, not knowing that the engines were still running. It was then that the tail rotor struck him.

Fenton’s parents were still on board. The second helicopter did not arrive when the accident happened. During the whole incident, the pilot of the second helicopter was informed fewer minutes before the landing. He was alerted about the incident. He directed the helicopter and landed at another airport so his parents would not sight the disaster.
