Isabella de la Houssaye was born and raised in New York. She was a lawyer, philanthropist, and adventurer. Isabella graduated from Harvard Law School, and from there, she paved her way in law. She provided her services as a corporate lawyer for many reputable firms, including Cravath Swaine & Moore, Sullivan and Cromwell. Isabelle was also the co-founder of a private equity firm, which is level equity, with her husband David, the US Department of Energy undersecretary of infrastructure.
