Jake Flint, an Oklahoma-based Red Dirt country musician who was 37 years old, died on November 26 according to his wife and longtime manager. Only a few hours after getting married, he tragically died.
As to the social media post, this incident shocked his friends, relatives, and the entire community.
“I must convey the devastating news that Jake Flint passed away; just thinking about it makes my stomach turn, and it makes me incredibly sad. I’ve tried to write a post multiple times today, but you can’t remark on something you can’t understand. I regret this inconvenience.
On Sunday, November 27, Flint’s manager, Brenda Cline, posted a moving obituary to the late singer on Facebook, calling him “the funniest, most entertaining, hardest working, dedicated artist I have ever worked with in my career.”
Jake Flint’s cause of death has not yet been disclosed, according to online publications or any family members.
Flint was born in Mounds, Oklahoma, in 1985. After his father was told he had Lou Gehrig’s disease and needed to hire some musicians to teach his son how to play the guitar, Flint became interested in music.
The singer’s website states that those beginnings motivated Flint to start going to bluegrass festivals, ultimately leading to him starting to play. In 2020, he released “What’s Your Name,” his most recent single. While this was happening, Flint had several performances scheduled for the rest of 2022 and 2023. He has also become a staple performer throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and other states.
From then on, he kept honing his craft and studying other musicians before ultimately pursuing his dream of becoming a professional musician. For many years, Jake Flint was a popular performer both in and outside of his own Oklahoma.
