Missing update and death of Hinako Ashihara
According to the reports, Hinako Ashihara went missing on January 28, 2024. Since then, authorities were diligently investigating to discover her; however, on January 29, 2024, she was found dead in Nikko, Tochigi prefecture, with a note. The details about the specification in the note have not yet been disclosed, but authorities considered her death as an apparent suicide case.
It has been observed that two days before her death, Hinako expressed her disappointment regarding the way NTV adapted her manga series Sexy Tanaka-San into live action. She wrote a blog post in which she stated the NTV broke its promise to maintain the accurate adaptation of the Maga series. She added that the things that altered were not minor changes but the central part of the story.
Later, Hinako deleted that blog post, saying sorry if it hurt anybody’s sentiments. The connection between her death and the blog post is not yet confirmed, but it was a hurtful feeling that she expressed before her death.
