Soweto-born vocalist Bosman performed in the jazz, African, rock, and gospel genres. Just a handful of the legendary musicians who have performed on stage with Bosman are Tananas, Moses Molelekwa, Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo, and Sipho Mabuse. Following that, she released five highly successful albums.

She was nominated for Best Southern African Artist and Most Promising Female Artist at the prestigious KORA Awards of 2001 for her second album, The Many Faces Of Gloria Bosman, which featured collaborations with some of the top artists in South Africa.
