American comedian Freddie Roman died at the age of 85, according to TMZ. According to the publication, the actor, writer, and producer suffered a heart attack early in the morning and had to be admitted to a hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida, in the United States. However, he did not resist.
In the last moments of his life, Roman was in the hospital surrounded by his family, including his wife, Ethel, 63.
The artist became known for his performance at the Friars Club, a private club in New York City that was a stronghold of great comedians in the United States. He was in charge since the 1990s, until he was succeeded in 2014 by presenter Larry King.
Freddie built a career performing at several top hotels across the United States, as well as appearing on Comedy Central.
