His dedication has grown into a significant source of numerous achievements, which he has made his family and the nation of Pakistan proud of.
On October 16, 2023, he posted an update on her sister’s health, where he discussed her sister’s terrible illness and shared that she couldn’t survive. Unfortunately, he didn’t mention her identification details for personal reasons.

It is awful news that her sister can’t survive. She fought a strong battle with her illness; a specific hospital provided hundreds of medical treatments, but unfortunately, she passed away and left her family behind.

Afridi has five brothers and five sisters, including him; they are 11 siblings. He is the fifth one. His two brothers, Tariq and Ashfaq Afridi are also cricketers. Shahid Afridi’s sister’s sudden death shocked millions who knew Afridi and his family well.
Shahid Afridi posted the sad news of her sister’s death on his Twitter account. Again, he requested his followers to make Dua/Pray for her sister and announced the time of Janazah/Funeral details on social media.
