Early this week, an awful tragedy in Middleton injured a woman. The woman has been identified as Middleton, Massachusetts, resident Emily Shann.
According to sources, a crash occurred on April 10, 2023, on Monday. Emily was reportedly involved in the crash and is currently in critical condition.
Update: Emily Shann tragically passed away on April 16 at 9 p.m. Her condition had been stable the past few days, but her blood pressure skyrocketed yesterday, and her pupils stopped responding to stimuli. Living in Middleton, Massachusetts, was Emily.

Emily has suffered numerous broken bones, lung damage, and other medical conditions since the tragedy. She has also been unconscious and on ECMO life support. She is currently receiving the greatest treatment in the ICU and is described as “stable”.
Since the accident, Kenny and Rita have been with Emily and will continue to be there. They posted to notify everyone of the situation and provide accurate information about her status and ways we can support the Friends of the Shann Family during this trying time.
Since many want to visit and offer support, the hospital has asked that visitation be kept to a minimum as the stimulation may hinder her recovery. This is how we can assist the Shann Family, who require our assistance. Rita and Kenny need a hotel room every night in Boston, close to the hospital. The responsibility for making and paying for the reservation will fall to Rita’s sister Monica and her husband, Bryan.
