The baseball community is mourning the death of a famous former baseball player, Dominic McNulty, who passed away unexpectedly at 40.
On Friday, August 25, 2023, Dominic McNulty died away, experiencing a health emergency, leaving everybody sad and devastated.
His death was confirmed through a social media post by Moorabbin Baseball Club Inc that states:
“It is with great sadness we share the sad news that our former import, Dominic McNulty, passed away Friday night.
Dom was a Panthers member for several seasons in the late 2000s.
Having an import can often be an excellent experience for clubs. However, Dom brought something extra special.
His upbeat personality, bright smile, and passion for the game made him a brilliant teammate and brought energy to the club, which was going through the beginning of a rebuild at the time.
The Panther family sends our love to wife Karen and beautiful son Dominic.”
The family will shortly provide details regarding the funeral and obituary so his loved ones can participate in his final rituals.
He graduated from Kellenberg Memorial High School. Dom was one of a kind with a heart of gold. He was an angel in disguise who did everything for everyone else.
Dom was a loving husband who adored his wife, Karen. He was the perfect daddy to their beautiful boy, Dominic.
He was a devoted son to his parents and a lifelong best friend to his brother, Eddie. He was everyone’s hero and always there when you needed him.
To say he will be missed is an understatement. He inspired everyone to live life to the fullest, always be kind, and laugh our way through life.
