David Dade, the respected President of the British Beard Club, unexpectedly passed away.
In a post that remarks “David Dade, founder and President of the British Beard Club, passed away today, Friday, June 30, 2023:
“We’re shocked and saddened to hear of the man’s death, without whom there would be no British beard community.
David Dade, President of the British Beard Club, passed away last night.”

The public is unaware of the specifics surrounding David Dade’s cause of death. David was an incredibly kind person who did an incredible job helping charity while also bringing people together through his love of growing beards.
At their discretion, the family may make announcements regarding the funeral services.
About David Dade:
David, a stunning man, was naturally beautiful from the inside out. His significant contribution to founding The South Saxon Beardsmen and his prestigious post as Honorary President of The British Beard Club were two examples of his profound influence.
In addition to leading these initiatives, and committed himself to philanthropy, using his influence to raise money for philanthropic causes. Through his passion for the bearding craft and his ability to unite people, David exemplified what it means to be a true gentleman.
He became a remarkable and well-liked member of society thanks to his unceasing efforts in the fields of facial hair and humanitarian undertakings.
He connected with a few guys who, like him, had attended the Brighton 2007 World Beard and Moustache Championships and registered the domain name for the British Beard Club website in November 2008.
At that competition, participants in the British Beard category engaged in a spirited conversation over the lack of a Beard Club in the U.K., which Russ Sherwood led. That year, the WBMC was hosted by The Handlebar (Moustache) Club, founded in 1947 but exclusively open to males with moustaches.
